2010 CAS Exam 8
The CAS Exam 8 seminar will be an intensive, six day review of the most difficult and most important material on the syllabus. Given the volume of material covered, the seminar will be held in two separate sessions, each three days long.
The first session will cover primarily the following topics:
1. Fixed Income Securities
2. Futures, Forward and Swaps
3. Options
4. Financial Risk Management
The second session will cover primarily the following topics:
1. Financial Risk Management
2. Asset-Liability Management
3. Valuation
4. Portfolio Theory and Equilibrium Models
